Most parents think that their children are eating a relatively healthy diet, but when they don’t, they raise their hands and give up. Then give the children multivitamins. Although this is not bad, many children think they are cute, especially now they like soft candy, chewing gum, cute animals and cartoon characters.

This is serious because when children can get them, they can take away more than you think. If your child swallows too much, call the poison control center immediately and take them to the emergency room.


If your child takes too much iron multivitamin, they may become seriously ill or die. All types of medicines should be kept out of the reach of children. If you think your child needs multiple vitamins, you can use multiple vitamins, but in most cases, children can get multiple vitamins through food.

If your child is allergic to dairy products or does not eat dairy products, calcium must come from other sources. It is important to consult your child’s doctor (pediatrician). Daily vitamin intake is what children need, even if they have problems with their diet this week.


Excessive absorption of other vitamins will be hindered. For example, too much calcium can interfere with the absorption of other vitamins (such as iron). Healthy food choices are not a priority for children. Give your child vitamins during puberty.

Before buying vitamins, you should be aware that opinions on iron-containing vitamins for children vary greatly.One opinion is that iron-containing vitamins should really be given, and the other opinion is that iron-containing vitamins should never be given to children.

As a child, my own son showed signs of iron deficiency in his infancy. Always consult your child’s doctor; the doctor prescribed iron-fortified vitamins for my son, and he is healthy now. The condition called hemochromatosis is caused by excessive iron in the blood.
Iron is destroyed by the body and is not easy to remove. It is almost always a fatal disease that can cause serious health problems. Calcium helps strengthen bones and muscles and is a very important part of the baby diet.


Calcium is a mineral. Children who eat ice cream, yogurt, cheese, or drink milk usually get enough calcium from their diet. Some people don’t like dairy products, and some people are allergic to them. They need juices rich in calcium, grains and vitamins.

Drinking fluoride-containing tap water and mineral water and/or fluoride-containing toothpaste is sufficient for most children. You should not give your child fluoride supplements without talking to the pediatrician.If you give too much fluoride, your child’s teeth may become permanently red.

This runs counter to the goal of purifying water and using toothpaste to protect children’s teeth. Children’s liquid multivitamins can be used and are usually administered via a pipette drops contain vitamins A, C and D, and possibly iron. They can also contain other vitamins and minerals such as thiamine, niacin, riboflavin and vitamin B12. Gummy bears for children appear in the form of cartoon characters and/or animals. These vitamins can now be used in gum and chewing gum.

If your child is having trouble taking vitamins, try using gummy balls or cartoon vitamins. Your child should always be supervised while taking vitamins. My son can never take vitamins by himself, I gave him.


You may or may not take them, or you take too much. Children’s vitamins can be very useful, but too many good things can be fatal. They should not be kept away from children. This is not your child’s top priority, so vitamin intake can make up for a lot.
